Bad Thinking

When you start thinking about out come instead of what you are doing that's when you get in trouble. You can't try to be the MVP of the game or the season or the league. You just play the game and be relaxed and have fun. If you are thinking of all this other stuff you are thinking you self right out of it. Your brain can only work so fast so don't clog it up with a bunch of thoughts that don't pertain to the task at hand. This is real common for golfers it is call swing grind they try and make the perfect swing thinking that will make them play better but it don't they always play worst. Because the task at hand is to hit the ball to a spot or a target however you want to look at it. And some of the best golfers of all time had terrible swings but they hit the ball where they wanted it to go and in so doing shot really low scores and won a lot of money.Here in lies the secret its not the biggest the strongest or the smartest who win at sports. It the one who is the calmest. That is right. Control of your nerves and break everything down to it simplest form and focus on that and you will win way more than you lose. Play the game like a kid have fun try new shots make new moves smile. This is a game this is not life and death. And when you are young don't put all your eggs in one basket. Do a lot of different things to find the one you are good at

Sunday

Its Sunday again and the diabolical forces are at work in my brain and in every Church in the world yes it is time to think of God. The first day of the week the day the Romans worshiped the sun it is funny how we moved the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday and one of the commandment is to keep the Sabbath day holy
more corruption of Christianity Most people don't believe in God anymore anyway. They believe in pieces of scripture. The baptist believe in baptism. Church of Christ they are almost a cult with the way they control their people. Like the Mormons they are more monsters they want to take over the world. Cowboy church
can you believe this shit they watched to many John Wayne movies he is not Jesus. Catholics the first christian religion they have had the longest amount of time to pervert it and they have. Its not about God its about finding your identity so you can worship God in a way this expresses who you think you are not God you.And that's not all bad its just most of the people that show up on Sunday are crooks and thieves on Monday They are the ones who sell you cars,houses,insurance,and anything else for more than what it is worth Every Sunday they show up because they know all week they have sinned. Now people who sin in the flesh they don't go to church their to ashamed but not the crooks and the thieves they are the ones who fill up the pews.Donating their money to pay for their sins. But its the same dirty money they stole and cheated for all week. Do you think God needs your money much less your dirty money ? A man sells a car for 1000 dollars more than it is worth then he laughs at the man he sells the car to he is so stupid to pay that much for that car Who is really stupid?? Who is trading their soul for the love of money. Money is evil and you have to be careful with it or it will consume you.Money is a dangerous instrument it is power and power corrupts
 When you are young you have a strong soul you see clear you believe deeply you want to make a difference in this world. As you get older the world beats you down with greed and money and shady deals for profit.
Each time weakening your soul until you have no soul left all you have is the desire to make that deal where you make the money. I knew an old man me and him were partners in the car business. Now he would buy and sell anything to make money so he bought this mobile home for 5000.00 dollars about four months later he sold it for 10,000.00. dollars doubled his money. He was happy one afternoon then it was on to something else. He worried and worried about losing money on that trailer everyday we got to sell that trailer.Then one day he soled it and made money and he still didn't enjoy it.He felt more alive worrying about losing money than he did about making it that was the only reason he didn't retire he had nothing to live for but the love of money.He was a sad old man...and once he knew he was going to die he tried to run from death. I have seen this many times an old man starts moving back to the places of his youth to try and get away from death. He was afraid of death I think he lost his soul for the love of money.It is great to worship God but be careful in these corrupt churches the people that are there can lead you the wrong way..

 

Football High

Well the Muleshoe mules had another great season this year but unfortunately they had to move up in class and hit a Wall in the process that's right a small town south of San Angelo. Wall is a town that has a program
unlike most schools they just wait every ten to twenty years and then they have a class of kids that can play and have size. Wall player are standing on the backs of the players from 10 years ago yes they are pushed and praised to the point they believe they are better than everybody else And it works because they play that way. It is also conditioning they start at a young age getting these kids ready to play basketball. And they always have great basketball teams boys and girls.And that training transfers over to make really good football players speed and ball handling skills are what you have to have to play both games. And if you start working with the kids young they will have skills.
 It's like Shallowater they start these kids playing basketball when they are in the first grade and by the time they graduate they can play some ball. Specially the girls they don't have all the distractions the boys have  Hunting Motorcycles football baseball and everything else you can think of sports wise its basketball or you are know body. I had a man come up to me the other night and he said if your kid don't make the A-team in basketball you are not nobody at Shallowater. And that is right but it is also that way at Idalou in football
every little town has there thing.
 And what happened to the Paducah Dragons they had a great season until last night. Oh well I for one am glad the football season is coming to a end and hoping no more young men get hurt. This game does produce
way to many injures and some catastrophic. So the sooner its over the better. Just a few more weeks and it will all be over and we can get down to the real fun that is basketball. The big Caprock Tournament is right around the corner. Some of the best basketball in the state will be played right here in Lubbock Tx.that week. So come on down.

Kitchen Help

I am sitting here in the kitchen watching my wife as she scurrys around cooking our thanksgiving dinner
what a fiasco get out of my way do this don;t do that are you just going to sit there or are you going help
just get out of the way I will do it as we slowly starve waiting and waiting for this perfect meal to be presented on a silver platter. But this is the way it is every year hurry up and wait yes I feel like I am back in the Navy stand over here no stand over there get out the way.Either lead follow or get out of the way
 It is the one time of the year our kitchen comes under a military dictatorship yes my wife become Hitler or Mussolini or Stalin or some other power hungry fanatic hell bent on imposing her will on every aspect of this one meal. If it's not perfect let no one come back alive. Yes that is the battle cry..We have enough food to feed a small army and why let me tell you she will not cook again until after all the sales are over that's wright
black Friday say it again black Friday I am a man and black Friday don't mean jack to me but women this is one of their holiest day of the year shop till you drop and then  don't stop just keep going find those deals those bargains spend spend spend I am saving so much money. That's the way a woman's mind works
crazy isn't it. Oh well it is time to eat so later gator.

MOB Basketball

 Our first game was last night and it was exciting 40 to 37 final score. The first quarter we were a head 10 to 6. Now for some back round Mob rules all players must play one full quarter in the first half ok that is simple
but if you don't have 10 players then the coach from the other team get to pick who plays the second quarter with the players that didn't play the first. So our best player Margaret had to set out the second quarter and we had no ball handlers the two girls I held back to do the job got nerves and chocked the other team took the lead 22 to 10 and three of our  girls fouled out in the second quarter.
  The reefers were young lady's and they called every foul I mean every foul now to their credit they were all good calls but these are 5th and 6th grade girls and if you do that the referees did not let the girls play the game it had no rhythm or flow and it took two hours. I understand this is probable some of the first game they have worked and they won't to do a good job. And in doing so they did a bad job. We had 32 fouls on our team alone we finished the game with four player on the court.
  Back to the game or should I say the Margaret show yes this girl is from a different planet. I told her at half time. Just take your time and play us back in the game don't get in know hurry we have plenty of time. And she did exactly that rebound run the whole court layup after layup the other team could not stop her she scored 36 of our 40 points  At the two minute mark Jamie our smallest player got fouled. In practice she has not been able to get the free throw to the basket so I have been working with her on the granny shoot but that little shit stepped up and made both free throws shooting the ball the right way and gave us the lead. She was so proud of her self and so was I. These girls play with a lot of heart.
 Summer worked the bench great keeping the players that fouled out motivated and in the game explaining the rules and showing them what to look for and what to do when they got back in. I know we are going to lose some games and win some games but last night was a special night.
