Well it was to good to be true the rangers gave it a great run but the out come was preordained it is hard to be John Travolta the first time you go to the dance.. There is a learning curve in every sport after you become a good player then you have to learn how to win. How to play under pressure. When you are a kid you just play and let the chips fall where they may. But as you get older you think to much you get in your own way
mentally. All the sudden you have all this adrenaline pumping through your brain and you are thinking don't chock don't chock so you chock cause that is what you are thinking about. These are pro baseball player you say they are not suppose to feel pressure, they don't in the regular season or in the playoffs but the world series this is a defining moment in all these players career and that it when the nerves come in to play.
Every Sunday you see some guy walking down the 18 fairway with a one stroke lead in a golf tour and wonder is he going to chock that is what golf is about not hitting a little ball but seeing if you can perform under the pressure of having to play right now. And every weekend golf courses all across this country are
full of people seeing if they have the mental strength to make that shot when it counts.
Its like a hunter shooting a bear a alligator a big cat an animal that can kill the hunter if he does not hit the target. That is the only way to see if you can find the zone and focus on the task at hand or are you going to chock under the pressure. Now put your self in that position with a gun or a golf club and millions of people watching now make that shot.So don't be so hard on the Rangers...
